How do you consolidate credit card debt if you do not own a home?
I owe about ,000 in credit card debt and I wanted to make that my year's goal to pay it off, but a lot of the websites I find require that you own a home, or charge a huge interest for someone to "negotiate" with your creditors to bring down interest. Does anyone know of a good resource where I can just consolidate the debt and make one reasonable payment?
Bank loan or debt consolidation program for credit card payoff?
Due to a family tragedy, my husband and I are currently in ,000 of credit card debt. All of the payments are current and the cards are paid on time with the accounts still open (we are not still charging, though). We are looking to seriously pay this down before the interest eats us alive. My husband wants to take out a bank loan and pay the cards off that way, but I am wondering about the debt consolidation programs you hear about (I know some of those are scams and some are real). Any advice or experience?
When does it make sense to consolidate all your credit cards?
I get some credit cards I would like to pay off as soon as possible. I read that you should pay the card with the higher interest rate first and then pay the minimum payment on the other cards. I like the idea of consolidating all your credit cards and make one payment , as this would make my life easier. Which option would be better, pay off each credit card or consolidate?
How do I find a ligitimate debt consolidation loan?
I am looking to take out a loan to pay off about 00.00 in credit card debt. Unfortunately, my credit score is pretty low. How do I find a reliable place to borrow money from? Debt consolidation or not?
I am having a hard time choosing between solution to my debt problem. i have around 00 in credit card debts right now. All of them are in collection agencies now and I have no means in paying all of them and all are delinquent too. I've been thinking of doing a debt program. I've been looking around and have seen debt consolidation programs, debt settlement programs, consumer credit counseling, credit counseling agencies and debt management plan… and I have a feeling there are more I don't know of. My question is which one would be the best option. By now I know my credit is bad and I have nothing to put into collateral. I'm not really comfortable in doing anything online because I want to see and talk to someone face to face. What are the fees involved in the programs? Do you have to pay them monthly too? I just need all the information I can get right now.
