What credit report service is the best value?
I want a service that I can view my credit report and credit score for all major credit bureaus 3 or 4 times a year and make disputes quickly and easily as needed. I don’t want to pay an arm and a leg. I shouldn’t have to buy my own personal information in the first place.
How many credit cards is too much to affect your credit score?
I am going to ask another question regarding which CC should I add to my credit card profile to add to my rewards. I have excellent credit, pay my balance in full each month, and I use my CC to pay for everything I can to rack up points/miles etc.
I am at a point where I want to increase my points and miles so there are some options. The question is, what is too much. I basically share a VISA with my wife, and have an older VISA that i keep. I realize that you should keep older credit cards for history. I want to add at least one AM/EX either the Starwood points, or the Delta Miles. I also might switch our Cap1 card to the signature to get 2 points for every spent, instead of 1.25 for . That is a new card, not a switch. And recently, I have received letters for UNITED miles (20,000 bonus) and AA Miles (21,000 Bonus). I would love to use those just to add to my miles on those flights. Could I add 3-4 cards without hurting my excellent credit? I will not rack up debt.
Is there a difference between the credit report a creditor sees and your full report on file with the 3 CRAs?
Correct me if I’m wrong but when you "pay for deletion" you are paying for any record of the debt to be 100% removed from the report that a potential creditor would see (like when you buy a car or credit card) .
–BUT the debt is never actually deleted from the credit report that you and the CRA have access to.
So, there are actually 2 forms of credit report: one that potential creditors see, and one which only you and the CRA see.
Is this correct??
I am asking because in previous answers to my "pay for deletion" questions, alot of people are saying that debts are never 100% deleted from credit reports.
So that makes me wonder what the phrase "pay for deletion" means exactly?
Thanks!
How can I get a good credit if no one will give me credit?
I have tried applying for credit cards but they won’t give me credit for lack of credit. How can I go about getting a good credit score? (Besides loan companies. Already trying that.)
I really don’t earn much at my job and I would like to get a JC Penny card or something like that for clothes.
Why would my credit report look good on Equifax and not Experian?
My credit reports looks good for one agency.
I have a loan in really good standing that is being reported by Equifax on my credit report but when I look at the other, it has no history of the loan. Should this loan be reported to all three of the agencies?? Or is it up to them?
