You can do it on line you already mentioned you pulled your reports right? when your looking at the negative lines there is a dispute this item link somewhere..make sure you dispute with all three if you see the same negative trade line on all three reports.

If its been over 7 years it must come off and you have the write to dispute any entry you feel is incorrect. Before you start disputing, its best to get an understanding about the system first and do’t move too fast or you can hurt yourself.

Anything you dispute has to be in writing. Call the credit bureau or go to their website to get instructions. You’ll need to write a letter with copies of all of the pertinent info. Generally they’ll review it and make a decision within 30 days. Good luck!

Each of the 3 bureaus has an online dispute system. You can get a free copy of your credit report each year, and that gives you access to the dispute systems.
I’d wait until mid to late November to dispute it though. They have 30 days to respond – but everyone takes vacation from Thanksgiving to New Years, so chances are you can dispute a whole lot and it’ll all get removed simply because your creditors aren’t staffed properly to respond to your disputes.
